As a Managing Director at Verita, Kevin has over 20 years of experience in the corporate claims administration industry representing debtors, creditors, committees and trustees in insolvency and restructuring matters. Throughout his career, he has developed a wide range of experience in bankruptcy administration as well as a comprehensive understanding of the impact of insolvency on current business operations. He has overseen the administration of numerous bankruptcy matters including cases such as Exide Technologies, Corus Bankshares, Inc., Bigler, LP, Dewey Ranch Hockey, LLC (Phoenix Coyotes), Sea Containers Ltd., InSight Health Services Holdings Corp. and WR Grace.
In joining Verita’s public securities team, Kevin’s varied securities background makes him instrumental in the management of cases requiring publicly traded securities expertise and providing administrative management for complex securities transactions, tender offers, exchange offers, rights offers, securities holder solicitations, proxies and communication.
Kevin also has experience in all aspects of claims administration and case management, including prepetition planning, noticing, Schedules and SOFA preparation, claims reconciliation, solicitation, distribution, and post-effective date projects.
In his previous role, Kevin prepared business and market analysis for merger and acquisition transactions as well as performed marketability assessments and strategic buyer research.
Kevin received his Bachelor of the Arts degree from San Diego State University. He has been a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and has held Securities Licenses Series 6 and 63.
